"I have been a business owner in one form or another since 2008. I run a business out of my home, and since March of 2022, I also have a store. Having experience in both business types has given me a unique perspective, and a different insight to offer to the Chamber of Commerce Board. I understand what it takes to work hard and run a successful business completely on your own, and after opening a retail store, I know how important and helpful it is to work together as a community to support all of our local businesses. We are stronger together.

I have also worked at the Central City Public Library since 2008. Combining all of these experiences allows me to bring multiple viewpoints to every discussion. I feel it is very important for the Chamber to incorporate the needs of all its members. Being able to speak for those who work from home, those who run a store and those who provide services to the community is an asset I am proud of and one I plan to utilize as much as possible as a member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce."
