"My hope in serving on the Chamber of Commerce board is to bring more awareness of everything Central City offers and to create networking opportunities within our membership where we can learn, grow and succeed together. I believe that by all businesses working together, promoting one another, and losing the "competition" mentality amongst our business community, we can build a strong foundation where all business can find success. I am excited to work together with other board members in providing fun, creative and meaningful opportunities for our members to be a part of."

Favorite thing about the Central City Community: 
Being a native of Central City, then moving away to a bigger town for school and then back home the lyrics of the theme song of "Cheers" comes to mind and sums up well the reason I love Central City and call it home.

Some would argue the benefit of living in a small community where no matter where you go someone knows your name, but in my opinion, I would not want it any other way. In our small community time and time again I have witnessed the "UNITY" within our community. Whether it be in a time of need, or to get a job done you can count on community members of Central City bonding together for the greater cause of the place we call HOME.
