Bison Bucks 101

Bison Bucks is “Currency” that can be used as cash at Central City Area Chamber of Commerce Member Businesses. They make great gifts for your Postal Carrier, Nanny, Lawn Care Team, Birthday Parties, Prizes & Incentives, Graduates, Teachers, Coaches, Employees … anyone you appreciate (even you)! Because there is a wide range of participating Businesses to choose from, the Bison Buck-holder can select his or her own “perfect gift!” Our goal is to create a means by which an individual or business may be “Loyal to Local” and purchase a “Currency” that the redeemer can use exclusively at any Current Chamber Member's Business. 

Here is how it works:
  • To PURCHASE Bison Bucks:  
    • Anyone may purchase Bison Bucks at the Chamber Office or any Central City Bank Location.  They are available in $1, $2.50, $5, $10 and $20 denominations.  
    • Great teaching tool for kids about budgeting, spending and more!
    • Promotional Discounts are ONLY available through purchase at the Chamber Office.
  • To SPEND Bison Bucks: 
    • Check out the List of Participating Members received at time of Purchase
    • View the Chamber Website for the List of Participating Members
    • Look for the “Bison Bucks Accepted Here” decal proudly displayed at Chamber Businesses
    • Use them just like cash at any of our Chamber Members! They never expire and there are no fees
    • You will receive change in cash back if the Bison Bucks being spent are more than the total amount  
  • To REDEEM Bison Bucks:  
    • Treat Bison Bucks the same as CASH.  After acceptance, deposit the Bison Bucks, just like any other cash, into your Bank Account.  
    • Your Bank Account will be credited in the amount of the Bison Bucks.
    • IF your Business banks out of town, please ENDORSE the Bison Bucks and take them to Pinnacle Bank in Central City and redeem for cash.

​There are ZERO fees to either the Business or the Buyer!
It’s that simple.  Everyone knows that Bison Bucks make it fun and easy to shop locally, ensuring that your investment supports the Central City Area Chamber of Commerce Members and Community.
